This role will be based in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. Our Employee Health and Well-Being organization is dedicated to the total health of our employees. Following our EHW Global Strategy and supported by our policies, programs, and resources, the Employee Health & Well-Being Shift Lead, a licensed nurse or doctor, will bring to life our effective approaches and strategies to serve our employees. As a Horizontes Shift Lead, you are occupational people leader caring for the manufacturing employees on shift 2. **DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES** + Lead a high-performing shift team while actively contributing to the day-to-day operations, fostering a collaborative environment and leading by example. + Shift lead will be responsible for managing patient care consults for their shift; will ensure that all patients are seen according to need and allocate medical resources and treatment as appropriate. + Responsible for managing operational aspects of their shift team (e.g., technical development, career coaching, performance, training, and regulatory compliance), as well as ensuring achievement of team goals within established timelines and by leading and developing a diverse team of occupational health professionals. Responsible for workday actions of their team as well as other people leader duties such as 5 conversations, to include performance management. Shift leads are responsible for the day-to-day management and scheduling of their team and ensuring shift is adequately staffed. + The shift lead will work along with site clinic operations nurse to track and manage inventory of necessary equipment, medications, and other necessary clinic supplies. + Ensure employee protection through appropriate occupational health programs implementation, patient care services and health promotion activation in accordance with J&J and Local Regulations and in close partnership with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Human Resources (HR), Facilities, and [shift, site, country, or cluster] leadership. + Maintains visibility as an Employee Health & Well-Being advocate and spokesperson for their shift. Shift leaders will communicate the EHW story and acts as ambassadors for EHW. + Coordinates and executes the onboarding process, working with the site clinic ops nurse, for all physicians, nurses, and support staff; identifies individual start dates; ensures comprehensive and proper completion of medical documentation required for new hires, for individuals on their shift. + Supports the development and implementation of strategies to elevate the patient experience. + Enable data-driven decision-making through fully implemented Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and innovative health technologies. Develop and improve individual digital skills across the team to support our initiatives and effectively demonstrate our impact on employee health outcomes and Occupational Health strategies. Responsible for data integrity and compliance within EMR. + Shift lead will ensure timely completion and consolidation of all medical documentation; in addition to conducting a hand-off with the next shift lead. + Shift leads are responsible for emergency response during their shift and ensuring all team members are aware of actions necessary in case of emergency. Shift leads are responsible for reporting all relevant information to site leaders. + Shift leads will still conduct consultations for patient care as necessary based on volume of work for their shift. Additionally, shift leads will conduct duties as assigned by site leader depending on volume at clinic. + Shift leads will help site lead confirm accuracy of all relevant external clinic reports such as HEART. **EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION** + Required: Licensed Doctor or Nurse (non-restricted license) with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree + 4-6 Years of Work Experience + 3 years clinical experience and/or 3 years occupational health experience in manufacturing. + Fluency in Spanish is required, with excellent verbal communication and written presentation skills. + Fluency in English is required. + License according to local regulation. + Knowledge in applicable regulations and ability to manage occupational health related cases, including Case Management, Disability Management, Return to Work, etc. + Experience in Emergency Medical Response and Medical Crisis Management. + Experience working with electronic medical records **PREFERRED** + Proven experience in leading teams and driving organizational effectiveness, including the ability to inspire and develop talent, foster a positive work environment, and implement strategies that enhance team performance and organizational efficiency. + Clinic experience + Occupational Health Education diploma, certification, or license according to local regulation + AED and CPR certification **Required Skills:** **Preferred Skills:** Budgeting, Developing Others, Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Healthcare Management, Health Care Regulation, Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA), HR Strategic Management, Inclusive Leadership, Leadership, Medical Billing, Organizational Knowledge, Performance Measurement, Persistence and Tenacity, Problem Solving, Service Excellence, Service Models, Talent Management, Training People
