What You’ll Be Doing

Reporting to the Director of Learning and Development, the Employee Experience
Specialist focuses on creating an employee journey that supports productivity, innovation, and
retention. Primary responsibilities include collecting employee feedback, analyzing data,
identifying areas for improvement, and tracking the effectiveness of initiatives. Designing and
implementing recognition programs to acknowledge and reward employee contributions. The
role will collaborate closely with HR, Marketing, and leadership teams to design, implement, and
evaluate initiatives that align with Nextech's culture, values, and business objectives.

onboarding, engagement, and pulse surveys to identify areas for improvement in
employee experienceResearches and integrates the latest trends and best practices in employee experience
to improve effectiveness, inclusivity, and employee engagementExecutes an annual employee engagement survey by coordinating efforts for survey
buildout, communications, HRIS integration, reporting and action planning follow up in
collaboration with the HRBP’s and business leadersCo-Chairs Engagement Committee to recommend and implement programs and
activities to support employee engagementPrepares reports on utilization, program effectiveness, and ROIPartners with Marketing efforts for culture and employee experience programs, ensuring
all employees are informed about upcoming events, opportunities, and program details
through clear and engaging messagingConducts organizational and departmental cultural assessments to identify strengths,
weaknesses, and areas for improvement in employee engagementBuilds a cultural Index to use with leadership to measure culture progressionDesigns, manages, and monitors the execution of comprehensive employee recognition
programs, including awards, milestones, anniversaries, and peer-to-peer recognition
initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational values and goalsPartners with senior leadership and Senior Vice Presidents of Operations (SVPs) to plan
and execute the Technician Awards program, overseeing seamless event coordination,
nomination processes, and timely award distributionManages relationships with external vendors, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery
of awards, gifts, and other materials while maintaining cost-efficiency and quality
standardsPrepares and delivers regular reports to leadership on participation, impact,
effectiveness, of recognition programs, to drive continuous improvementCollects and analyzes employee feedback on recognition programs to identify areas for
improvement and recommends strategies that enhance program engagement and
participationCoordinates community service activities including creating toolkits for field offices to
utilizeAccurately maintains detailed records of employee experience activities, including
nominations, awards, program budgets, and related metrics, ensuring compliance with
organizational standardsAssists with special projects and other assigned tasks, ensuring alignment with company
policies and proceduresCompletes tasks and special projects assigned, in a safe, accurate, thorough, and alert
mannerUpholds company policies and proceduresWorks in a professional manner with managers, supervisors, coworkers, customers, and
the publicOther related job duties as assigned Qualifications Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with employees and
vendorsExcellent analytical skills with a strong ability to manage data and generate reportsExceptional attention to detail skillsExcellent organizational and project management abilitiesSkilled in designing innovative programs that enhance employee engagement, retention
and meet organizational needsProficient in recognition and survey program software, data tracking, and reporting tools,
as well as HRIS platforms (experience with Survey Monkey, UKG and Nectar is a plus)Collaborative team player with the ability to manage competing priorities effectivelySkilled in building relationships and fostering trust across departments and with external
vendorsSkilled in maintaining confidentiality and managing sensitive data with discretionProficient in assessing program performance, analyzing data, and providing actionable
insights to drive continuous improvementProven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., HR, Benefits,
Marketing, Finance)Passionate about promoting employee experience, and staying current on industry
trends and best practicesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP,
macros, formulas, etc.)Adaptable and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentStrong initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, or a related field Minimum of 3 years of experience executing engagement and recognition strategiesProven experience in planning, organizing, and executing employee experience
programs and eventsExperience collaborating with recognition vendors and external partners to coordinate
program offeringsExperience in building creative and innovative solutionsProfessional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferredPrevious experience in HVAC Industry or other service business preferred Physical Requirements Continuously able to work in office environmentContinuously able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such
as a copy machine, telephone, and computer printerContinuously able to sit at a computer for up to 8 hoursAble to alternate between sitting and standing, as needed throughout the dayOccasionally able to lift up to 15 lbs.Continuously requires vision, hearing, twisting, and talkingOccasionally requires walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, kneeling, pushing/pulling,
