Position Summary Works independently in a support role by following well-established workflows and procedures on routine work. Has substantial understanding of the job and applies company policies and producers to complete, with little guidance or direction. Problems and issues faced are generally routine and solutions clearly prescribed.
Primary Responsibilities Take and resolve calls/emails from clients and or members, related to claims, billing, EOB and coverages (including escalated and or complex) Process eligibility changes and or orders replacement ID cards within carrier or benefits administration system, to include Employee Navigator and Ease Create activities and attach applicable documents within BenefitPoint, ensuring current and accurate data.
Other duties, as applicable Support administrative work related to renewals, carrier implementation and BenefitPoint data. Setup and maintain accurate account details, contacts, and policy information in BenefitPoint Support Individuals with Individual coverages (not group) such as Medicare, medical, dental, vision, life and disability, including renewal.
Work Experience Highly proficient knowledge of EB carriers and group insurance products, to respond to employee coverage and claims questions. Highly proficient in navigating and working within various benefits administration solutions (Employee Navigator and Ease) and carrier portals (eligibility, ID Cards, Salary and Address changes, etc.) Highly proficient in BenefitPoint and workflows applicable to Small Business and support service work. Good communication skills, and with ability to communicate coverage questions to members
Professional Licenses/Certifications Licensed or obtaining state life and health insurance license
Education Associate or bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent work experience would be considered
Physical Demands
Office work involves working at a desk most of the time, using a stand-up/sit-down adjustable desk. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Typing, grasping, and repetitive motion typically is required every day, and walking and standing are required occasionally.

Compensation
This position is located in New York. The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $62,200 to $77,200. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility, and qualifications.
