The Baker Hughes Summer Internship is designed to enable students either pursuing a Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree or recently graduated to gain hands-on work experience as the foundation of their professional lives. As a Summer Intern – Warehouse & Yard, you will be responsible for:
Loading or unloading freight.Receiving inbound material from outside suppliers and other Baker Hughes plants and field locations.Packing and unpacking of goods.Stocks received material, as well as completed products and assemblies from in-house production.Picking materials, components & products and delivers them to Production or shipping. Ensuring the work area is maintained in a safe and proper condition through correct handling and storage of equipment and toolsOther duties as assignedFuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Be currently enrolled or recently graduated in a Bachelors’ or Masters’ level degree of any course and will take logistics diploma.Have maintained a GPA grade greater than or equal to 3.0 out of 4.0 or the equivalent in your countryExperience of working within a Material Handling or Warehouse role.Forklift truck license (T4) is required for this role.Logistics certificate of apprenticeship. (Logistikk Fagbrev) – preferred. Excellent command of English (listening, speaking, reading and writing)Excellent skills in computer, especially SAP, Excel, Outlook would be an advantageMust be reliable, work safely, and committed to quality service.Be able to legally work in the country that you are applying in, without company sponsorship or time restrictionWork in a way that works for you
