Richmond Hospital is a busy 200+ bed community teaching hospital in the heart of the culturally diverse city of Richmond, BC. It is near the Vancouver airport and a short 20-minute drive to downtown Vancouver. We are apart of Vancouver Coastal Health and we see approximately 58,000 ED visits per year. The hospital is fully supported by most services and within very close proximity to those services not on-site. In the Emergency Department, we currently have 34 permanent members as well as locums on staff and have 11 scheduled shifts per day. We see a diverse mix of both adult and paediatric patients. We are looking for interested emergency physicians to join our group as permanent member with a long term view.
