**Description** **Specialization:** Emergency Medicine **Job Summary:** HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is seeking a PRN **experienced** **Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider** (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our practice in Fort Pierce, Florida and its Free-Standing Emergency Department in Vero Beach. **QUALIFIED CANDIDATES** + Must be board-certified by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) + Must have at least 12 months of current and consecutive Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care experience as an APP + Must have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) **EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT PROFILE** + Level II Trauma Center + 80,000 annual patient visits in Main ED and 16,000 in pediatric ED + 42-bed ED including 5 fast-track plus 5 monitored beds + 3 trauma bays, including 1 pediatric + 70 hours total of physician coverage (main ED and Peds ED) + 60 hours of APP coverage + 26% admission rate + Comprehensive Stroke facility with bi-plane + Interventional cardiac cath facility + code ice facility with therapeutic hypothermia capability + Several dedicated ED glide scopes and ultrasound + 24-hour inhouse Hospitalist and Intensivists + High acuity **INCENTIVES/BENEFITS** + Competitive compensation + Paid malpractice insurance + Flexible scheduling **HOSPITAL INFORMATION** HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is a 497-bed acute care teaching hospital that provides a full range of specialty services, including advanced cardiology, emergency medicine, pediatrics, orthopedics, oncology, nuclear medicine, surgery and is home to the most experienced Heart Institute on the Treasure Coast.
