Duties and Responsibilities What You Will Do: + Provide prehospital medical care following Lee County EMS protocols + Assist with patient assessments, treatments, and safe transport + Deliver care with professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail + Function as a reliable ambulance crew member during emergency responses + Complete accurate and timely patient care reports + Perform routine equipment, supply, and vehicle checks + Maintain a clean, safe, and operational ambulance + Operate emergency vehicles safely and in accordance with policy + Participate in station duties, restocking, and daily operations + Engage in ongoing training and skills development + Perform other related duties as assigned Education, Experience, Licensing What We’re Looking For: + Current State of Florida EMT license + Current CPR certification + Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record + Ability to complete a 16-hour Emergency Vehicle Operations Safety Course within 30 days of hire + Compliance with Chapter 64-J1 of the Florida Administrative Code and applicable Florida Statutes + Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team Supplemental Information Work Schedule & Overtime Opportunities + Shifts may include 8-, 12-, or 24-hour rotations + Includes weekends and holidays + Overtime opportunities are available and may be frequent based on operational needs This is a 24/7 position serving a 24/7 community.
