Manages and triages incoming requests via phone, radio, and digital platforms to ensure timely, appropriate dispatch of ambulance resources. May also require the delivery of 911 caller pre-arrival instructions. Maintains real-time communication with field crews, hospital departments, and external partners to coordinate patient movement to and from Mayo Clinic Florida, as well as to out-of-network facilities when necessary. Provides accurate pre-arrival notifications to receiving teams and facilitates communication between clinical teams and transport crews. Initiates emergency team activations (e.g., Stroke Alerts, Trauma Activations, Rapid Response) per Mayo Clinic Florida protocols, ensuring timely coordination with the Emergency Department, inpatient units, and specialty teams.
