**Department:** Emergency Room **Shift:** Days **Daily Work Times:** 7:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. **Scheduled Bi-Weekly Hours:** 72 **Position Summary** Responsible for providing basic nursing care and specific nursing functions within the Emergency Department under the direction of the registered nurse. ERTs will complete basic arrhythmia class for ERTs with a minimum score of 80%25%20on the written test within two attempts. In addition, they must satisfactorily complete the competency testing for IV and urinary catheter placement. **Required:** + Possess high school diploma or equivalent. + Possess BCLS certification. + Possess licensure as Emergency MedicalTechnician/Paramedic. + Possess minimum of six months EmergencyDepartment or Emergency Medical Technician experience.
