The educator combines clinical expertise and passion for teaching in both the classroom and practice setting, preparing and mentoring current and future generations of nurses. The Nurse educator plays a pivotal role in strengthening the nursing workforce, serving as a role model and providing the leadership needed to implement evidence-based practice. **The value you'll bring to the team:** Collaborates with the Education/ Manager/Director to identify educational goals and coordinates training process for staff as assigned Incorporates principles of adult learning in planning, implementation, and evaluation of education programs Plans, prepares, and maintains materials for use in educational programs for accuracy and relevance to the target audience Adheres to attendance standards when teaching/facilitating a class ensuring set up is completed prior to class start Assists with students and practicing nurses to identify their learning needs, strengths and opportunities and develop learning activities to grow skill set based on learning needs Qualifications **The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:** Bachelor's degree of Science in Nursing Must be enrolled in MSN within one year of hire RN license in the state of Florida 5 years of experience as an ED RN This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
