What You'll Do:   

As an EMEI Engineering Leader, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, leading and Engineering through operational excellence of engineering standards, project planning and development, construction, and modernization of the facility to achieve company goals: process safety, mechanical integrity and reliability, sustainability, and manufacturing to plan.  You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing and enhance modern life. Your work will have strategic oversight of large-scale engineering projects and lead the coordination of engineering activities with other functions to ensure the full lifecycle management of capital projects. The scope of role will also include development and implementation of global engineering policies and procedures. 

 

What We're Looking For:  

Engineering Leadership: Own engineering design, documentation, and adherence to global standards. 

Capital Project Management: Lead full lifecycle of capital projects from planning to commissioning. 

Continuous Improvement: Lead the implementation of continuous improvement and standard work practices with appropriate tools and methodologies to improve delivery, efficiency and effectiveness.  

Process Safety & Compliance: Ensure safety is embedded in all engineering designs and project phases. 

Team Development: Mentor and develop engineering talent, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. 

Risk & Contractor Management: Proactively manage project risks and contractor performance. 

Strategic Planning: Align engineering strategies with organizational goals and future technologies. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Production, Maintenance, Safety, and Environmental teams to ensure project success. 

 

Skills That Make a Difference:  

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering. Advanced degrees (MBA, PMP) and Chartered/Professional Engineer status preferred. 

Experience: 10+ years in engineering/project management, with 5+ years in leadership role. Strong background in chemical processing, construction, and commissioning. 

Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, Primavera, and cost estimation tools. 

Leadership: Proven ability to lead large teams, manage significant budgets, and drive strategic initiatives. 

Language skills: bilingual in French and English. 

Travelling: 25% across EMEI
