EMEA Payroll Specialist, Finland

POSITION SUMMARY

This position sits within the EMEA payroll team based in Budapest. The team is in charge of the end to end delivery of several payrolls across our EMEA region. This role is to ensure the successful delivery of the payroll for international entities with the opportunity to work on other country payrolls over time.

Key Responsibilities:

Collation & Calculation of payroll input where appropriateWorking within our defined processes to ensure no control or compliance breachesWork with the appointed payroll vendor to ensure all payments are efficiently run in a timely manner (employee, third party and statutory)Ensure timely delivery of all payroll reports to internal and external customersWork with payroll vendor to ensure tax year end reports are delivered in accordance with country legislation and on timeProviding first line support for all payroll and tax related queriesMaintain payroll manuals and related payroll instructionsAssist and support internal and external audit teamsWork with colleagues from around the business to ensure smooth end 2 end payroll deliveryIntroduce process improvements within assigned countries and beyondParticipate in business/functional projects as the need arisesAny other duties as required to deliver a first class payroll service to our colleaguesAt least 2 years Payroll Experience and technical knowledge of end to end  payroll processingEnglish and Finnish language skills are essential, additional language(s) is a plusExcellent interpersonal skills both verbal & written with the ability to connect with individuals at all levels within the organisationExperience of working within a Shared Service/Payroll environment would be preferableStrong MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Skills, specifically improved excel skills (including Pivot Tables & Look Up)Ability to provide an excellent customer experience to ensure all payroll queries are managed effectivelyStrong organisational skills to ensure the timely completion of the payrolls, within required time scalesAccuracy, attention to detail and numeracy skills are essentialAbility to identify and implement process improvement
