Lenovo is seeking a talented EMEA Partnerships & Media Operations Manager to join our EMEA Media Center of Excellence (COE). This role offers a unique opportunity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, working closely with geo and country marketers, functional COEs, and creative and media agencies to develop and implement strategies tailored to the EMEA markets.
In this position you are a strategic thinker who can lead the EMEA partnership strategy while also managing the media in-housing roadmap and process. You will be responsible for scaling media in-housing capabilities, fostering strategic partnerships, and ensuring seamless collaboration with the activation agency to drive Lenovo’s marketing and business objectives across the EMEA region.
Your Key Responsibilities:
1. Partnership Development and Management:
Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned with Lenovo’s marketing and business goals within EMEA. Identify key partners, including media platforms, AdTech, and MarTech providers, and establish Joint Business Partnerships (JBPs) that deliver value to Lenovo’s EMEA operations.Act as the primary contact for partnership agreements, collaborating with internal teams (legal, finance, procurement) to secure favorable terms and compliance.Conduct regular Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with partners to assess performance, optimize strategies, and explore growth opportunities.2. Media In-housing Strategy and Roadmap:
Lead and scale the media in-housing roadmap and process, ensuring effective collaboration with external partners to foster innovation and efficiency. Manage relationships with the activation agency to support the scaling of media in-housing capabilities.Implement frameworks and processes to enhance the in-housed media planning and buying within the EMEA region.Facilitate cross-team collaboration to seamlessly integrate in-housing initiatives into Lenovo’s media operations.3. Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
Track and analyze partnership performance metrics, ensuring alignment with EMEA-specific KPIs and business objectives.Keep abreast of industry trends and incorporate insights into the in-housing strategy and partnership development. Drive continuous improvement and innovation based on market analysis and the evolving digital media landscape within EMEA.4. Stakeholder Collaboration:
Collaborate with Business Groups (IDG/Motorola, ISG, SSG) and regional stakeholders to understand EMEA-specific needs and priorities. Serve as the liaison between partners, internal teams, and the activation agency, ensuring the smooth execution of joint initiatives.Maintain a comprehensive understanding of digital media opportunities, legal requirements, and industry dynamics within the EMEA region.Your Professional Experience:
Experience in digital media strategy, planning, and buying, with a focus on the EMEA region.Proven experience in managing strategic partnerships and joint business agreements within a multinational environment.Demonstrated experience in leveraging AdTech and MarTech solutions to drive digital media strategy. Comprehensive knowledge of emerging media trends within EMEA, including connected TV, OTT, and digital out-of-home.Strong leadership and project management skills, particularly in coordinating cross-functional collaboration.Proficiency in media planning and buying platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, DV360, The Trade Desk). Experience with media metrics, attribution methodologies, and digital channel optimization.Tools and Methods:
