**Description and Requirements**
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an EMEA Indirect Tax Compliance Specialist. This role involves supporting VAT compliance and across 48 countries in the EMEA region, working closely with the EMEA Indirect Tax Senior Manager.
**Key responsibilities for this role:**
+ Collaborate with the EMEA Indirect Tax Senior Manager on over 2,400 VAT compliance filings and related reporting processes.
+ Review and authorize VAT returns and indirect tax-related filings/payments from third-party providers.
+ Assist regional accounting teams with VAT and turnover account reconciliations.
+ Support the preparation of responses to tax inquiries and VAT audits in coordination with finance teams and external advisors.
+ Support internal VAT control processes including filings, payments, receivables, checklists, and tax controls.
+ Leverage compliance processes to optimize VAT positions across EMEA.
+ Monitor legislative changes to ensure compliance and add value.
+ Provide ad hoc VAT compliance support to business teams across the EMEA region.
**As the right candidate you will have:**
+ Fluency in English.
+ 5+ years of relevant experience in VAT compliance, industry experience is a plus.
+ Strong knowledge of VAT regulations across the EMEA region.
+ Extensive experience in VAT compliance, reporting, and payments within EMEA.
+ High level of responsibility and accountability with the ability to work independently.
+ Strong analytical and communication skills with a detail-oriented and organized approach.
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and address tax issues in a broader business context.
+ Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of SAP, Sabrix, and Onesource is advantageous.

Base gross monthly salary from 1800 EUR, depending on experience + variable part 12% of your annual earnings.
