Senior Embedded Systems Engineer responsible for designing and implementing low-power IoT solutions for wireless, Linux-based devices in the field.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
5+ years experience as a software developer
3+ years experience as a Systems Engineer in the IoT space
Embedded development experience using C/C++ on Linux
Experience with low power management and external power sources
Experience with modular system and software development
Experience with wired and wireless communications, including Cellular, GPS, Bluetooth, and CAN
High level of proficiency with C/C++ and Linux
High proficiency with software development workflows and work processes
Preferred Skills:
Experience in refrigerated transportation, heavy equipment, or similar industrial environments
Experience deploying and maintaining wireless devices in the field
Experience integrating multiple communication protocols in embedded systems
Job Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain embedded software using C/C++ on Linux-based platforms
Architect and implement low power management strategies for battery-powered and externally powered IoT devices
Define and develop modular embedded solutions for scalable system architectures
Integrate and manage wired and wireless communication interfaces including Cellular, GPS, Bluetooth, and CAN
Participate in system-level engineering for IoT products, including requirements definition and technical specifications
Optimize system performance, reliability, and power consumption for field-deployed devices
Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to bring embedded IoT products from concept through deployment and sustainment
Pay: 60-70

Pay Details: $60.00 to $70.00 per hour
