Embedded software engineer building and sustaining next-generation patient monitors using C#, WPF, and embedded platforms within a scrum environment.
RequirementsProficiency in C# and .NET for application and service development.
Hands-on experience with WPF (XAML) for desktop UI.
Embedded software development experience (device integration, hardware/firmware interaction).
Ability to reproduce/investigate defects and deliver fixes across codebases.
Experience writing unit tests and running them in CI pipelines.
Familiarity with version control and code reviews (e.g., Git, pull requests).
Availability to collaborate with a local software architect and a remote development/test team (Hyderabad, India).
Preferred SkillsMVVM architecture, data binding, templating, and performance profiling in WPF.
Interprocess communication, threading, and asynchronous programming in .NET.
Hardware interface protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I²C, USB, TCP/IP).
Experience in regulated product development (e.g., IEC 62304) and technical documentation.
Test automation frameworks and mocking libraries for .NET.
ResponsibilitiesImplement new software features and enhancements for patient monitoring products.
Investigate, reproduce, and resolve defects in existing code.
Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Perform peer reviews and contribute to integration and functional testing activities.
Develop unit tests and ensure execution in CI environments.
Author and maintain technical documentation (design notes, how-tos, developer guides).
Collaborate with cross-discipline teams in test, systems, and infrastructure to achieve project goals.
Pay: 40-60

Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
