Wir suchen eine erfahrene Fachkraft im Bereich Software Engineering, die in einem funktionsübergreifenden Team an der Entwicklung und Nachhaltigkeit unserer analytischen Instrumente mitarbeitet. Die ideale Person verfügt über ein abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Informationstechnologie sowie über 5 Jahre relevante Berufserfahrung.

Deine Aufgaben:

Entwicklung, Modifizierung und Implementierung webbasierter UI-Software mit SolidJS und TypeScript für unsere Messgeräte auf Embedded-Plattformen mit Chromium

Umsetzung performanter, responsiver Komponenten und State-Management; saubere Architektur und modulare APIs

Mitarbeit bei der Erstellung von Software Backlogs und Teilnahme an Code Reviews

Build- und Release-Pipelines pflegen und ausbauen (CI/CD), inkl. Testing, Linting, Bundling

Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Embedded/Backend-Team (z. B. MQTT/REST-Interfaces zum Yocto-System, SQLite Datenbank)

Das bringst du mit:

Sehr gute Kenntnisse in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, SolidJS (oder andere moderne UI-Bibliotheken bzw. Frameworks)

Erfahrung mit Chromium in Embedded Setups und in der Anbindung von C/C++-Applikationen über HTTP/MQTT

Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Informationstechnologie sowie mindestens 5 Jahre relevante Berufserfahrung

Ausgeprägtes UX-Gespür und Umsetzung konsistenter Design-Guidelines

Sprachkenntnisse: Fließend Deutsch und Englisch

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer Frontend (m/f/d) to join our team in Berlin‑Zehlendorf.

We are seeking an experienced software engineering professional to work within a cross‑functional team on the development and long‑term sustainability of our analytical instruments. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Information Technology and brings at least five years of relevant professional experience.

Your Responsibilities:

Develop, modify, and implement web‑based UI software using SolidJS and TypeScript for our measurement devices on embedded platforms with Chromium

Build performant, responsive components and manage state; ensure clean architecture and modular APIs

Contribute to software backlog creation and participate in code reviews

Maintain and expand build and release pipelines (CI/CD), including testing, linting, and bundling

Collaborate closely with the embedded/backend team (e.g., MQTT/REST interfaces to the Yocto system, SQLite database)

What You Bring:

Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and SolidJS (or other modern UI libraries/frameworks)

Experience with Chromium in embedded environments and connecting C/C++ applications via HTTP/MQTT

Degree in Information Technology and at least five years of relevant professional experience

Strong UX awareness and ability to implement consistent design guidelines

Language skills: fluent German and English
