For our Motion, Power, Sensing Division site based in Fribourg, we are currently looking for an Embedded Software Engineer. As “Embedded Software Engineer“, you develop and verify software with respect to specification, defined cost, quality and schedule, you design signal processing algorithms mainly in formal industrial developments and contribute to the department continuous improvement. Your responsibilities + Contribute in identifying customer needs and estimating software development efforts + Model and analyze software requirements + Manage software design, code and integration + Be in charge of software testing (design/development/execution) + Execute reviews assigned to the software team (software, system, hardware) + Ensure respect of applicable quality documents and standards according to the domain and the projects + Support client during testing activities + Perform maintenance of developed software + Contribute to the improvement of development methodology and to technical innovation Who we are looking for + University Degree (Master) in software or robotics Engineering + 2- 4 years of industrial experience in Embedded Software Engineering activities, ideally including FPGA + Ability to understand and contextualize customer needs, in industrial development or research context + Good interpersonal and communication skills + Ability to work in a changing environment and to prioritize duties in order to meet deadlines + Good team player and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams + Autonomous, proactive and “can do” attitude + Out-of-the-box thinking and curiosity + Fluent in English with very good command of French (spoken and written).
