Key job responsibilities * Delivering high-quality C and C++ code for Ring Devices at Amazon, * Specifying, designing, and implementing functionality and behaviors of embedded subsystems, * Collaborating effectively to prioritize, design and build new solutions for our customers * Proactively communicating and demonstrating technical leadership. About the team Our mission is to enhance the developer experience at RBKS, enabling engineers to create loveable products and features for our customers. We provide tools, data, and infrastructure that will reduce the time to get code from developers to customer devices whilst ensuring operational excellence, by reducing friction during coding and providing greater device health visibility. Our vision is to develop a suite of tools that seamlessly integrate across the entire development lifecycle, from desktop to production. These tools will enable pre-hardware development and a smooth transition to on-device testing. The minimum base pay salary for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include further pay components such as a sign on payment and the eligibility to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA. Your recruiting team will share final base pay and any applicable total compensation elements depending on skills and requirements.Company discretionary, supplementary benefits apply subject to further terms, including pension plans, health insurance, life and disability insurance, business travel insurance, MultiSport card, employee discount code and program (EDC/Extras), commuter benefits where applicable, and the Employee Assistance Program (private and confidential counselling and referral service to support health and well-being).The minimum base pay for this position is PLN 19,166 monthly. Basic Qualifications - * Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field of studies, or relevant work experience. - * Proven experience in at least one modern language such as Java, C++, C#, JavaScript, or Python including object-oriented design. - * Strong desire to build, deliver results, take ownership, and drive projects. - * Passion, self-learning, and curiosity - you learn new languages, code side projects and follow what happens in the areas you are excited with. - * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications - Experience in embedded development in C/C++ and familiarity with SoC and embedded CPU - Experience taking software products from inception to customer delivery. - Understanding of design for scalability, performance and reliability. - Experience with CI/CD systems and build automation. - Experience of QEMU or other simulation systems Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
