You will design, craft, and deploy reliable embedded software for large quantity of consumer electronic products. Amazon Leo is breaking new ground with every device we design, and you will be an integral part of bringing this family of products to customers.
Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Key job responsibilities
· Develop embedded software for terrestrial devices within the Amazon Leo system.
· Participate in all phases of Software Development Lifecycle including: requirements gathering, design, code, test, and code/test coverage.
· Developing embedded software in Rust, C/C++, assembly or other languages
· Have experience with real-time embedded software philosophies and practices
· Have expertise with embedded Linux or other Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
· Review schematics, logic analyzer, and embedded software (bare-metal) trouble-shooting techniques.

As part of our software engineering team, you will design and implement embedded software used in the Amazon Leo products. You will work in a collaborative environment with teams inside and outside of Amazon. You will craft your software from requirements, designs, code, test, to product deployment. You need to be flexible and responsive to changing priority issues.

We write code, debug, and create the world’s most innovative products. We work in collaboration with other teams for designing and delivering scalable, low latency, and high throughput solutions.
