As Embedded Software Architect / Lead Developer, you will shape the software architecture for\u00A0 power electronics solutions across our transport and stationary HVAC portfolio. You will provide technical direction for design, development, and deployment of embedded software used in components such as variable frequency drives (VFDs) and their integration into higher-level control systems. Combining deep technical expertise with architectural leadership, you will support solutions from concept through production and throughout the product lifecycle.\u00A0
Key Responsibilities\u00A0
Oversee software development for power electronics and power management devices, including firmware stacks, controller applications, system-control integration and development tools.\u00A0Ensure reliability, performance, configurability and quality through architecture design, code reviews as well as appropriate testing and CI/CD strategies.\u00A0Guide and support the developers in our teams in creating maintainable, reusable and extensible software and robust technical documentation.\u00A0Collaborate closely with our hardware engineers, influencing future designs including the selection of MCUs / MPUs and peripheral ICs. Technical Qualifications\u00A0
8+ years of relevant professional experience in software development, preferably, with a focus on architecture and system design.\u00A0\u00A0Demonstrated ability to design, communicate and maintain software architecture for complex systems, making use of established patterns and modeling languages.\u00A0Demonstrated experience developing embedded control systems, handling\u00A0 memory, performance, real-time and peripheral constraints.\u00A0\u00A0Hands-on experience with ARM-based MCUs/MPUs, such as STM32 or , Renesas RA, and DSPs.\u00A0Familiarity with real-time critical applications, ideally but not necessarily in the power electronics domain.\u00A0Strong C/C++ skills for embedded systems and professional use of toolchains, debuggers and profilers.\u00A0Experience with low-level firmware, register access, interrupt handling, peripheral drivers, board commissioning and hardware analysis using equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.\u00A0Confident use of Git, Make/CMake or comparable build systems, automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.\u00A0Deep understanding of code-quality practices, static code analysis as well as\u00A0unit, integration and system testing.\u00A0Experience in applying relevant coding standards and development process models,\u00A0 solid understanding of functional safety and embedded cybersecurity.\u00A0Leadership and Collaboration\u00A0
