EM&S Supply Chain Coordinator

Reporting to EM&S Turkey Supply Chain Manager, the Supply Chain coordinator operates within the External Manufacturing & Supply perimeter for Turkey. This position contributes to the perimeter’s business objectives across the Turkey manufacturing site, while ensuring adherence to HSE regulations and internal control toolkits.

Main responsibilities:

 

Acting as the strategic link between markets, external manufacturers, and internal stakeholders, the EM&S Supply Chain Coordinator manages end-to-end supply chain operations for external manufacturing products, optimizing logistics and inventory levels to ensure consistent product availability while upholding Sanofi's quality and compliance standards.

Demand Management & Planning

Implement processes to optimize production flow and inventory levels.

Ensure reliable market demand and highlight significant changes.

Challenge market demand and develop a detailed understanding of demand drivers.

Consolidate and validate export demand, ensuring accurate overview of volumes across export markets

Coordinate export supply planning with markets and internal teams to ensure product availability

Plan monthly product requirements at External Manufacturing sites, both short- and long-term.

Prioritize according to capacity constraints and proactively identify risks and opportunities.

Achieve OOS targets.

Maintain an Out-of-Stock (OOS) valuation projection, identify risks, and build mitigation plans.

2.    Logistics Operations

·       Leverage relevant tools (Kinaxis, SAP, or others) to support operations and ensure reliable data accuracy.

·       Maintain system master data and reference creation on MARS database

·       Manage toll item ordering and supplier follow-up

·       Coordinate with the 3rd-party logistics provider to ensure timely export dispatches and supply chain documentation readiness (CoA, invoices, declarations…).

·       Ensure export compliance requirements (batch release, certificates, artwork, labelling) are met prior to shipment.

·       Ensure accurate documentation for finished goods deliveries.

3.    Operations Monitoring

·       Implement and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with all stakeholders.

·       Lead initiatives to improve supply chain efficiency

·       Define end-to-end supply chain parameters (e.g., MOQ, Lead Time, RSL).

·       Ensure alignment of supply parameters with market coverage and inventory valuation targets.

·       Review and update production BOMs regularly.

·       Calculate CRI to support material planning.

·       Monitor ISL to maintain inventory performance.

4.    Support & Change Management

·       Support the introduction of new products from External Manufacturing sites.

·       Monitor artwork changes and minimize destruction costs.

·       Collaborate with internal teams to improve Cost of Goods (COGs).

·       Support Industrial Affairs Controlling in budgetary processes.

5.    Compliance

·       Comply with internal Code of Ethics, maintaining high professional standards in line with company procedures.

·       Demonstrate duty of care toward protecting the company’s reputation.

6.    Ethical Leadership

·       Take personal accountability by applying experience, training, and company tools to uphold ethical and governance standards relevant to the role (including company policies, procedures, and applicable legal requirements).

·       Escalate decisions or seek guidance when personal knowledge or understanding is insufficient.

7.    Environmental & Safety Leadership

·       Supporting and complying with company safety rules and procedures.

·       Reporting any accidents, incidents, or near-misses—whether involving personal injury or property damage.

·       Assisting in the investigation of accidents to help implement preventive measures.

·       Reading and following all safety documentation issued by the company.

·       Escalating any uncertainties or concerns to their supervisor or manager.

About you

Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in science, Pharmacy, Chemical Technology, Engineering, Management, or Project Management in healthcare (Supply Chain and Industrial Affairs), or another Master’s degree.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience with strong knowledge of processes in the pharmaceutical industry. Experience in manufacturing is an advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Knowledge of SAP (desirable)

Strong understanding of pharmaceutical processes

o    Expertise in Production Planning and Control (PPC)

o    Experience in managing Customer Service Level (CSL) metrics

o    Knowledge of Planning Adherence methodologies

o    Ability to lead cross-functional teams
