Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical ELV Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As an ELV Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, compliance, and optimal performance of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems in various buildings and facilities throughout the region.
Conduct thorough inspections of ELV systems, including fire alarm, security, CCTV, and access control systemsAnalyze and interpret technical drawings and schematics to ensure proper installation and functionality of ELV systemsVerify compliance with relevant codes, standards, and local regulationsIdentify and document deficiencies, non-conformities, and potential safety hazardsPrepare detailed inspection reports and communicate findings to stakeholdersCollaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to resolve issues and ensure timely completion of projectsStay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and changes in regulationsParticipate in ongoing training and professional development activitiesTravel within the region as required to perform inspections at various sitesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related fieldMinimum 15 years of experience in ELV systems inspection or related fieldIn-depth knowledge of ELV systems, including fire alarm, security, CCTV, and access controlProficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematicsStrong understanding of relevant codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, IEC)Familiarity with building management systemsKnowledge of local building codes and regulations in Saudi ArabiaRelevant certifications such as NICET or CFPS preferredExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong written and verbal communication skills in EnglishAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to travel within the region for inspectionsProficiency in using computer software for report writing and data analysisAdditional InformationAbout AECOM
