The job of Behavior Intervention Assistant is done for the purpose/s of developing appropriate school skills for students enrolled in the ELOP program. The Behavior Intervention Assistant works with the student population to support the development of social skills with peers and adults, as well as working closely with the staff on issues related to the educational, social, and emotional success of students. A Behavior Intervention Assistant reports directly to the Extended Learning Athletics and Clubs Supervisor.
View Job Description Requirements / QualificationsEducation Required: Associate’s Degree or higher, or 48 or more eligible units of coursework at a recognized college or university. At least two years of behavior management experience, preferably with students with learning/emotional/mental disabilities. Completed classified employment application - resume - Letter of introduction -Three letters of recommendation (within the past 12 months, with at least one from a supervisor)
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday times will be 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Wednesday times will be 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm
