ELL Instructor Job Details Job Location Brunswick - Brunswick, GA Position Type Full Time Education Level 4 Year Degree Salary Range $50000.00 Salary Job Category Education Description The English Language Learning Instructor is responsible for providing educational training to ELL students, focusing on GED/HSD completion and enhancing literacy and numeracy skills. This position ensures that the Center meets or exceeds performance goals set by the Department of Labor and the company. The instructor also provides individualized case management to support student progress and achievement within the Job Corps program, while maintaining a well-organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Responsibilities + Provide educational training to ELL students leading to GED/HSD completion + Ensure the Center meets or exceeds DOL/Company performance goals + Maintain a well-organized and conducive classroom environment for student learning + Hold students accountable for dress code and behavioral standards + Plan, prioritize, and organize assignments to meet established goals and deadlines + Mentor and model Career Success Standards for students + Provide high-quality supervision and management for the student population + Exchange ideas and information clearly and concisely in both oral and written forms + Collaborate with staff from all departments to ensure effective supervision and services + Identify problems, analyze causes, and evaluate appropriate solutions Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Bachelors degree from an accredited school required. Masters degree from an accredited school preferred. A valid in- state teaching certificate or waiver required.
