Elko Business Office - Records Administrator (Part Time)

Position Description:

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Records Administrator to join our Legal Team. The successful candidate will ensure that accurate records are kept and can be accessed when they are needed. The Records Administrator will prepare files for archiving and handle the digitization of physical records in a facility.

Responsibilities:

Maintaining a records management systemPerforming data entry tasksUpdating existing recordsMaintaining company archivesRetrieving information from the filing system when requestedMaintaining up-to-date logs, including information about file changes or who has accessScanning and uploading files to create digital copies of physical recordsProcessing and file copies of incoming and outgoing physical correspondenceConducting routine verification to ensure integrity of the filing systemAssisting with the organization and disposal of outdated records in compliance with company policiesTraining and assisting staff members in proper record-keeping proceduresCollaborating with legal team to ensure proper application of legal holds on relevant recordsThis role will involve handling company records that display signs of aging, potential dust accumulation, and critical preservation needs, requiring care and attentionAnd other duties as assigned

         

Qualifications:

Degree in Business or related field preferred Previous work experience as legal or executive assistant is preferredExecutive/administrative assistant experience or equivalent combination of training and experience are preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skills requiredAttention to detail required Advanced knowledge of office equipment preferredOffice professionalism requiredAbility to lift up to 50 lbs requiredProficiency in reading cursive is requiredProficiency in using Adobe Pro and Microsoft products is preferred
