Our comprehensive benefits include: * Competitive pay * Paid time off * 401K with company match! * Career advancement opportunities Responsibilities + Answer telephones and provide excellent customer service to our professional staff and insurance representatives + Run and utilize computer reports regularly + Observe confidentiality and safeguard all patient related information + Provide accurate, complete updates to Agency management on status of Insurance Eligibility for all patients + Ensures that Insurance Eligibility is obtained and documented for all patients + Is responsible for seeing that objectives are implemented, follows, and promotes agency policies and procedures + Ensure that all eligibility responses are documented clearly + Participate in the orientation and education of other employees as relates to Eligibility department + Observes confidentiality and safeguard all patient related information + Notifies Supervisor of problems in a timely manner and works to help provide solutions + Completes ongoing education requirements and demonstrates ongoing competency in required areas + Other duties as assigned Qualifications + High school graduate or GED + Minimum of one (1) year of experience in health care billing and/or authorization practices + General knowledge of the framework, organization, and function of home care + Sound knowledge of health care operations and third-party reimbursement + Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer) with the ability to learn industry specific software applications + Solid organizational skills, thoroughness, and a keen attention to detail with the ability to multi-task while prioritizing effectively + Ability to work independently and in a team environment + Excellent, oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills + Professional appearance and demeanor About our Line of Business Adoration Home Health and Hospice, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, provides quality and compassionate services in the comfort of home, providing support for patients, families, and caregivers in their time of need.
