Position Overview
The School Social Worker collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to support students requiring social work services in the school setting. This role provides input into the development and implementation of IHPs and IEPs, supporting students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs while promoting academic success.
Assignment Details
+ Location: Denver, CO
+ Start Date: March 2, 2026
+ End Date: 18-week assignment
+ Schedule: Monday–Friday, full-time
+ Hours: 37.5 hours/week
+ Daily Schedule: 7:55 AM – 4:30 PM
+ Pay Rate: $52/hour
+ Grade Levels: K–5
+ Student Population: Special education and general education students
+ Caseload: Approximately 30–35 students
+ Modality: In-person
Responsibilities
+ Provide school-based social work services to elementary students
+ Collaborate with special education teams on IEP and IHP development
+ Deliver interventions supporting social, emotional, and behavioral growth
+ Work closely with families, staff, and related service providers
+ Maintain documentation and compliance with professional standards
Minimum Requirements
+ Professional Educator License with School Social Worker (SSW) endorsement
+ Active CDE SSP (School Social Worker) credential required
+ Elementary school experience required
+ MSW or LCSW may be required per contract
+ Compliance with professional standards of practice
+ CPR certification (if applicable)
+ TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable)
+ Current health certificate (as required)
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
