Elementary Multiple Subject with Bilingual Authorization (BCLAD) Teacher (Spanish, French and Mandarin) This posting is specific to Multiple Subject with Bilingual Authorization (BCLAD) for the following languages only; Spanish, French and Mandarin. Please note, if you do not hold a Multiple Subject with Bilingual Authorization (BCLAD) in Spanish, French or Mandarin, you will be disqualified and not continue in the recruitment process. This is a continuous recruitment which will be used to establish an ongoing eligibility list for elementary and K-8 schools. Examples of Duties: An Elementary Multiple Subject with Bilingual Authorization (BCLAD) Teacher develops and implements lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the District's curriculum program in Spanish, French or Mandarin. The duties of this position include but are not limited to the following: Present subject matter according to guidelines established by the Board of Education and administrative regulations. Prepare lessons that reflect accommodations for differences in student learning styles. Encourage pupils to think independently and to express original ideas. Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social, and emotional development of students. Assess student progress on objectives, expectations, and/or goals and provide feedback to students, parents, and administration. Plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, materials, and equipment, including instructional media.

Credential Requirements - A valid California or out-of-state teaching credential. - Candidates eligible for a multiple subjects credential may be considered. Please reference the State of California Commission on Teacher Credentialing website for details (click here to view). - Bilingual Authorization (BCLAD) in Spanish, French or Mandarin If you have not applied for a California teaching credential, you must hold a Certificate of Clearance prior to applying for your credential.
