Electronics Technician - Tune and Balance (M - F 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM)

Our Opening and Your ResponsibilitiesRole/Purpose:The Electronics Technician Level I, utilizes tools, fixtures, and work instructions to support repair of low complexity electronic modules, Xray tanks and detectors and/or Metal Detector repair and new build production.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Follow detailed work instructions, processes and proceduresDiagnose, refurbish and repair product inspection equipment in accordance with Risk Assessment and Safe Mechanical and Electrical guidelinesReport problems with quality, processes, equipment and material to Repair Supervisors and/or Repair ManagerDocument actions by completing quality checklistsWork with supervision to understand our process capabilities and develop ideas that reduce costs and improve qualityProvide basic hands-on job function training to coworkers as neededMaintain a safe, clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functionMaintain a positive work atmosphere by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with customers, clients, co-workers, and managementConserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job resultsAccurately track and record time spent on projectsAdheres to all company policies and procedures Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50lbsOther duties as assignedPerform entry level SAP TransactionsAssist higher level techs as needed and learn for advancement.Basic understanding of SAP processes and transactions regarding production ordersCarry out tasks in one of the areas below:Tune and Balance
Tune and balance detectors coming in to repair Round, V3, V4 systems; and support new builds with supervisionCalibrate equipment to meet factory standardsSetup Metal detectors for testing when completed and verify performanceReplace any electronic components that do not meet standard specificationsHardware Wiring
Follow detailed work instructions to install graphite coating for Round, V3, V4 systems Metal Detector head; support installation of new builds with supervisionInstallation or replacement of low complexity standard head cable and associated wiring as required on remote and standard unitsInstallation or replacement of any electronic components that does not meet standard specificationXR Components
Perform return evaluation process to diagnose, refurbish and test X-Ray generators with support/ supervisionEvaluate, repair and test MT X-Ray Detectors with support/ supervisionDisassemble, and perform the tank cleaning process for refurbishmentEvaluate MT Flex industrial computers for repairEnter detailed QN tasksModule Repair
Build control module customer repair and exchange with support/ supervisionBuild power supply customer repair and exchange repair with support/ supervision
What You Need to SucceedRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Basic soldering skillsAbility to read schematics and drawings.Experience using electronic test equipmentQuality focusedBasic mechanical and electrical aptitudeSafety awareEntry level problem solving/troubleshooting skillsGood time managementGood communication skills, both oral and writtenGood attention to detailAbility to sit, stand, squat, bend, push, pull for long periods throughout the day and occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50lbsAbility to handle multiple prioritiesSelf-starterAbility to meet deadlinesFamiliarity with Microsoft Office
