Manpower Engineering is partnering with a leading industrial electronics company in Munster, Indiana to find a skilled Electronics Engineering Technician for a day-shift, Monday–Friday role. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity ideal for mid- to senior-level technicians who thrive in hands-on environments. Military veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.
**What You’ll Be Doing**
Join a collaborative team where you’ll:
+ Diagnose and repair a wide range of industrial electronic equipment, including **AC/DC and Servo drives** , **analog/digital I/O boards** , **inverters** , and other control devices.
+ Use advanced tools like **Pace rework systems** and apply both **surface mount (SMT)** and **thru-hole soldering** techniques.
+ Work on component-level troubleshooting and repair of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic assemblies.
**What We’re Looking For**
We’re seeking candidates who bring a mix of experience, curiosity, and reliability:
+ **Education/Experience** : A 2-year degree in Electronics Technology is preferred, but 7–10 years of hands-on experience (including military electronics) is highly valued.
+ **Technical Skills** :
+ Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
+ Experience with AC/DC and Servo drives
+ Proficient in SMT and THT soldering/desoldering
+ Familiarity with test equipment like oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, Huntron trackers, and Variacs
+ **Personal Traits** :
+ Enjoys tinkering, repairing, and hands-on hobbies (e.g., auto repair)
+ Reliable, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
+ Quick learner and team player who takes direction well
