You will be the Electronics Technician for the SOF team. Our team is responsible for providing logistics, maintenance, and sustainment services to the U.S. Special Operations Command.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for applying comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting manufacturer’s maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, and engineering data.
Your responsibilities will include:
Repairs, replaces, and rebuilds electrical system wiring, connectors, and components using hand tools, power tools, and applicable test equipment.Fabricate harness and electrical assemblies.Work requires familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and judgment in planning work sequence and in selecting tools and testing instruments.Receives technical guidance, as required from supervisor or higher level technicians, and work is reviewed for compliance with accepted practices.May provide technical guidance to lower level technicians.Why Join Us

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:
Equivalent experience/education combinations are permitted based on the typical minimums required for this job which are:
3 years of related experience in repairing, replacing, and rebuilding electrical system wiring, connectors, and components using hand tools, power tools. and applicable test equipment.
Experience in utilizing electrical test equipment such as digital multi-meters and oscilloscopes.
Must be proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, engineering drawings and technical manuals.
Desired Skills:
Soldering experience.
Prior harness fabrication and electro-mechanical assembly experience.
Proficient in reading engineering drawings and blueprints.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
