Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronic Technician to join our team supporting high-reliability electronic systems used in military and aerospace applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with RF components, MIL-SPEC standards, and IPC-certified soldering and assembly processes. This position requires precision, adherence to stringent quality protocols, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex electronic assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:Assemble, inspect, and repair electronic assemblies to MIL-TYPE and MIL-SPEC standards.Perform RF testing, tuning, and troubleshooting of electronic components and subsystems.Conduct precision soldering and rework of SMT and through-hole components following IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards.Interpret complex schematics, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.Use oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and other RF/electronic test equipment.Perform continuity checks, voltage and current measurements, and functional testing.Support the development and integration of military-grade electronic systems.Document work performed and follow established processes and quality assurance protocols.
Qualifications:3+ years of experience as an Electronic Technician, preferably in a defense, aerospace, or high-reliability environment.Strong working knowledge of RF systems and components.Familiarity with MIL-SPEC/MIL-TYPE standards and practices.IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 certification strongly preferred.Experience using electronic test and measurement equipment.Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and electrical schematics.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred Experience:Experience with environmental and performance testing for military applications.Background in manufacturing or maintaining mission-critical systems.Previous work on radar, communication systems, or defense electronics.
