As an Electronics Technician at Baker Hughes, you will be supporting electrical manufacturing activities to deliver high‑quality assemblies. You will work closely with engineers, supervisors, and production teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency across all builds.

You will be assembling, soldering, and inspecting electronic components with a focus on quality and consistency. You will be contributing to safe operations while supporting daily production goals.

As an Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for:

Assembling electronic components and wiring harnesses per drawingsPerforming precision soldering on SMT and through‑hole componentsExecuting crimping tasks using manual or automated toolsMaintaining safe and organized workstations with ESD complianceDocumenting production activities and reporting defectsFollowing production schedules and achieving daily output targetsSupporting inspections to ensure product qualityCoordinating with team members to improve workflow

Essential Skills:

Strong skills in soldering and crimpingAbility to read schematics and wiring diagramsKnowledge of IPC‑A‑610 and IPC/WHMA‑A‑620 standardsGood manual dexterity and attention to detailAbility to work independently and in a teamBasic computer skills for documentation tasks

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a high school diploma or equivalentHave relevant experience in electronics assembly or testingHave hands‑on experience with soldering and crimping toolsHave familiarity with IPC standards (certification preferred)
