Installing flight controllers, GPS units, telemetry modules, and payload interfaces, as well as assisting with the setup of autonomy-related hardware such as sensors and navigation systems.

Collaborate closely with engineers to troubleshoot integration issues, support system-level testing, and ensure platform readiness for field deployment.

Experience working around UAS hardware and a strong understanding of how unmanned systems are wired, powered, and configured to operate autonomously.

Perform wiring, soldering, and harness fabrication for sensor and power systems.

Configure flight controllers and data loggers to interface with sensor payloads.

Keep Manufacturing consumables stocked, communicate stock levels and requirements to Purchasing team

Troubleshoot circuits and perform repairs as necessary.

Perform all functional duties independently.

Qualifications:

Required:

Knowledge or experience with analog or digital RF circuits.

Knowledge of flight controllers (e.g., Pixhawk Cube & SpeedyBee F405) & Flight Controller programming (ArduPilot, PX4,Betaflight, QGroundControl)

Hands-on experience with integrating electronics into UAVs or robotics platforms.

Familiarity with MAVLink protocol & sensor communication standards (UART, I2C, CAN, SPI, etc.) & sensors such as GPS,IMU, barometers, LiDAR, and imaging cameras.

Proficiency with most remotely controlled subsystems found in COTS remotely piloted vehicles.

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and documentation/reporting tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power-point).

Ability to read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, and wiring diagrams.

Security clearance required.

Technical diploma or associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, robotics, or related field preferred.

Desired:

IPC soldering certification (e.g., IPC-610, J-STD-001).

Experience with design and integration of electronics on (UAS) Unmanned Aerial Systems.

3D Printing proficiency (Some CAD experience Solidworks/Tinkercad)
