The Opportunity:

Fabricate wiring harnesses and cable assemblies to meet engineering specifications, including mil-spec standardsHands-on experience working on large-sized UAV projects, where you'll contribute to advanced electrical systems andcutting-edge aerospace technology in a fast-growing sectorRouting, bundling, clamping, and terminating wires according to aviation standardsSupport engineers in the assembly & testing of electronic devices.Be responsible for assembling, soldering, testing, and troubleshooting electronic components and RF devices


Responsibilities:

Solder a wide range of electronic components including through-hole, SMT, and fine-pitch packagesPerform functional, Verification and Validation (V&V) and RF testing on completed assemblies and devices usingspectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and other diagnostic equipmentRework and repair solder joints on densely populated PCBs using hand tools and soldering stationsUsing manual and automatic crimp tools (e.g., for circular connectors, terminals)Build cable and chassis assembliesAssemble complex cable and wiring systems using proper soldering techniquesPin insertion, removal, torquing, and sealing of varying types of connectorsBuild prototypes for Engineering using schematicsInspect populated boards for placement accuracy, solder quality, and overall assembly integrityKeep Manufacturing consumables stocked, communicate stock levels and requirements to Purchasing teamCollaborate with engineers and peers assigned to projects to rectify discrepancies in design and/or documentationWork closely with design and test engineers to interpret schematics, assembly drawings, and bills of materialsAble to Troubleshoot circuits and perform repairs as necessaryPerform all functional duties independently


Qualifications:
Required: 

Knowledge or experience with analog or digital RF circuits.Experience in the use of RF test equipment like network and spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, mixed signal generators,Power meters.Able to design, fabricate, and perform PCB assembly of surface mount and through-hole components, modify, andassemble mechanical enclosures.Experience working with common connector types such as Deutsch, Molex, MIL-spec D-sub, MIL-spec, or circularconnectorsHands-on experience supporting engineers in prototyping or hardware development environmentsDemonstrated experience in wiring harness and mil-spec cable fabricationTechnical diploma or associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.Ability to read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, and wiring diagrams.A Secret clearance is the minimum requirement to begin employment. As a requirement of continued employment you will be required to obtain TS/SCI clearance.


Desired:

Knowledge of various modulation formats in communicationAltium Designer experience.IPC soldering certification (e.g., IPC-610, J-STD-001).Experience with design and integration of electronics on (UAS) Unmanned Aerial Systems, RCIED, or Water born IEDs

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$75,200 - 158,100 USD
