Electronics Assembly Technician
**Job Title: Assembly Technician** **Job Description** The Assembly Technician leads complex assembly, alignment, and testing of electro-mechanical components. **Responsibilities** + Follow all safety and quality guidelines as defined by the company. + Assemble electronic and optical devices and components. + Use basic electronic assembly tools and various electronic test equipment to perform troubleshooting, testing, and repairs of electronic assemblies. + Understand and follow detailed work instructions without deviation. + Inspect assembled and sub-assembly products. + Assemble mechanical/electrical items (small wires and circuit boards) into product housings. + Inspect and rework defective sub-assemblies. + Meet productivity levels as determined by management. + Communicate updates and work-related progress to upper management both in writing and verbally. + Develop new methods to improve functionality and efficiency. **Essential Skills** + High school graduate or equivalent. + Minimum 2 years of experience in electronic/electro-mechanical assembly or related field. + Must be available to work a 9/80 schedule. + Ability to follow detailed technical instructions. + Demonstrated success with maintaining quality control and data management. + Ability and willingness to learn new technology, software, and professional practices. + Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word). + Energetic personality with strong leadership and communication skills. + Strong problem-solving mindset and continuous improvement orientation. + Soldering, wire harnessing, and wiring skills. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Rosa, CA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
