Electronic Program Specialist
The person in this position will be part of the Machine building team that is responsible for design and manufacturing of new and rebuilt machines to support HFS facilities worldwide. This group is responsible for the implementation of projects to upgrade existing equipment and systems, coordinates and supports custom machine building projects and assists in the selection, procurement and installation of our new custom equipment to support HFS manufacturing process. This group also supports the day-to-day operations by acting as a resource for skilled trades and contracted services. The position is located at the Fullerton plant two facility, responsibilities will include, but not limited to: + Support assigned plant and provides backup support to other plants + Controls projects and HMI programming & support of PLC Based Systems + Power Distribution Management. + Infrastructure support and modernization. + Support capital project management + Responsible for managing contracted project work. + Hands on position to include trouble shooting, wiring, programming and assembly of new and rebuilt custom designed machines for internal use. Basic Qualifications: + 3- 5 years of experience + Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology from an accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. + Previous electrical co-op, internship experience in a manufacturing environment. + Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Preferred Qualifications + PLC programming experience + HMI programming experience + Experience with Allen Bradley PLC & RSLogix or RS Logics 500/Studio 5000 + Knowledge of Electrical distribution systems for voltage below 600V + Proficient user of SolidWorks, AutoCAD Electrical and/or SolidWorks Electrical + Familiar with industrial robots (e.g., FANUC or similar) is a plus + Familiar with dataPARC, LabVIEW, or related tools is a plus + Design and build panels Benefits/Salary: The position includes competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package available day one of hire, including health insurance (medical, dental, vision), excellent 401k matching program, paid holidays and vacation.
