The role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Electronic Industrialisation Lead to oversee the transformation of electronic prototypes into reliable, production-ready systems. This strategic role ensures compliance with defense sector standards and supports the continuity of critical technical expertise.
Responsibilities: Lead the full industrialisation cycle: prototyping, production, assembly, and testing Define electronic components and manage specialized procurement and scheduling Develop hardware/software testing tools and internal test benches Supervise a team of 3 (including temporary support) Ensure compliance with IPC standards and manage non-conformities Conduct manual and automated testing using LabVIEW and TestStand Provide technical support and troubleshooting (HW/SW) Collaborate closely with the design office, even with incomplete documentation Train and transfer knowledge to local and international teams Participate in technical meetings and internal/external presentations Support process certification and production qualification
Qualifications: Minimum 15 years’ experience in electronic industrialisation Expertise in power electronics, design, assembly, cabling, and testing Proficiency in ALTIUM (schematic and PCB design) Familiarity with TestStand (preferred) and LabVIEW (training available) Strong experience in manual and automated testing Knowledge of IPC standards: CID/CID+, IPC-A-600/610/620 Solid software understanding to complement hardware skills Ability to create electronic sub-assemblies and estimate prototyping needs Fluent in French and technical English (fluent English not required) Engineering degree in electronics Experience in military sector preferred (aerospace, automotive, or rail acceptable) Strong leadership, organizational skills, and precision in complex environments Available quickly and able to absorb unique technical expertise
