Responsibilities:
Accurately enter and update patient data in the Electronic Health Records system
Scan, upload, and index medical documents into the correct patient charts
Ensure timely and accurate processing of medical records requests from internal staff and external parties
Audit EHRs for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulations
Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA regulations at all times
Respond to queries regarding patient information in a professional and timely manner
Perform regular backups and contribute to data integrity initiatives
Support quality assurance efforts and assist in resolving data discrepancies
Maintain organized digital filing systems and assist with archiving old records
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Associate degree in Health Information Management, Medical Office Administration, or related field
Certified Electronic Health Records Specialist (CEHRS) or similar credential
Familiarity with medical terminology and basic healthcare documentation
Previous experience in a fast-paced clinical or hospital setting

1+ years of experience working in a medical office, healthcare facility, or health records setting

Understanding of HIPAA and patient privacy laws
