An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electronic Beam Welder  to join Rolls-Royce.

What you will be doing:

Build tooling and load parts onto toolingConcentricity and alignment checksAutonomous machine maintenance and process controls.Maintaining part traceabilityWelding of Compressor drums, Shaft, Blisk assemblies and other partsContribute to process improvement activities and methods of managing process risks (PFMEA)

Position requirements:

Ability to read and interpret technical drawingsFollow complex build sequencesExperience of using CNC machineryComputer literacy (use of web pages, spreadsheets)Lifting and slinging trained

Preferred qualifications:

Experience of using Statistical Process Control chartsAppreciate the importance of Process compliance and attention to detail.Appreciation of Critical Part ControlExperience of obtaining axial concentricity through manual clocking
