Job Description
As an Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical parts, pieces, or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications. You will work in a specific area of production focusing on various housings, control panels, and automation controls.
Responsibilities
Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.Utilize hand-held tools such as screwdrivers and drill guns.Perform soldering to join metal items using filler metal.Maintain inventory of products in workstations.Perform quality checks to ensure products meet quality standards.Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.Maintain a clean and safe work area.Essential Skills
1-2 years of electrical assembly experience may be required.Basic blueprint reading skills with the ability to follow directions.Basic computer navigation and utilization skills.Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to generate new concepts or ideas.High attention to detail and self-motivation.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Specific technical or vocational training or certification may be required.May be required to pass a ruler test.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is clean, well-lit, and well-organized. It has a smaller, almost R&D type feel, and is not very loud. The work hours are either 6 AM - 2:30 PM or 8 AM - 4:30 PM.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $34.00/hr.
