**Job Title: Electromechanical Assembly Technician** **Job Description** Join our team as an Electromechanical Assembly Technician where you will play a crucial role in assembling high-speed turbo motors, generators, and turbo machinery equipment for the Aerospace Defense Industry. You will conduct sub-assembly and full system level testing according to applicable drawings, schematics, and specifications. **Responsibilities** + Assemble high precision coil windings, sensors, and electric motor components and sub-assemblies. + Solder fine wiring to ensure reliable electrical connections. + Encapsulate electrical assemblies to protect and insulate them. + Follow blueprints, routers, and work instructions accurately. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly instructions, and process routers. + Strong manual dexterity and ability to use fine precision tools, fixtures, and testing apparatus. + 3-5 years of experience assembling electrical parts in a production environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 certification or equivalent. + Capability to work on prototype, engineering, and production type hardware using sketches, verbal instructions, or notes. **Why Work Here?** We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and a 401K plan with a 3% match. Specifically, you will be part of a mechanical assembly department consisting of 20 team members. The work may require sitting or standing, depending on the assembly line, and you will encounter glue smells. Safety shoes, such as steel-toed shoes, are required. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cypress, CA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
