Where is the work: This position has been designated On-Site with work performed in our Trane La Crosse R&D Lab 5-days per week.
Job Summary:
Trane Technologies has an exciting opportunity for an onsite position in our Engineering Test Laboratory (Lab) in La Crosse as an Electromechanical Product Development Technician II. Your primary function in this support role is to aid in testing setup of New Products in Development (NPD), Sustainability, and Quality improvement projects, in addition to some agency compliance. Your technician role would support qualifying Trane Applied Compression and Commercial Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and Heat Pump products. Current demand is also supporting large commercial chiller development to cool industrial data centers supporting AI functionality. The job requires problem solving, troubleshooting, and collaboration with other lab and engineering team members to ensure timely completion of projects. This position is salaried non-exempt.

1-year certificate/diploma in a technical discipline and at least 7-years of work experience in a related field will also be considered.EPA Type Universal Certification or willingness to become certified.Strong grasp of refrigeration related thermodynamic principles and mechanical troubleshooting is preferred.
Key Competencies:
Compensation: Annual Pay Range: $39,000 - $84,100
Disclaimer: This pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, and geographic location where the work is performed. This role is also overtime eligible.
