Volt is hiring for an Electromechanical Assembler position with a leading manufacturing company in Albuquerque, NM.
As an Electromechanical Assembler, you will:
Assemble electronic components including control boxes, wiring harnesses, light pods, and light bars with minimal supervision Install and connect mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic issues using specialized testing equipment Read and interpret engineering drawings and safety manuals Maintain efficiency while managing multiple assembly tasksThis is a full-time opportunity.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
The ideal candidate will have:
High school diploma or GED 1–2 years of experience in mechanical or electrical assembly, or equivalent training Ability to read tape measures and engineering schematics Experience using hand tools such as drills, taps, and wire strippers Familiarity with 24-volt DC systems (preferred) Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions Ability to use specialized equipment to lift and position steel parts and assemblies (some weighing several thousand pounds) Ability to safely push, pull, and maneuver components ranging from 10 to 100 lbs, with team support and ergonomic tools availablePay Rate: $20.00 – $25.00/hr
