Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated Expert to spearhead the technical development and localization of electrolyzer products. Unlike a traditional engineering role, we are looking for a candidate with a strong Research-oriented mindset and hands-on experience in Electrolyzer Stacks (PEM, AEM, AEL, etc.). The ideal candidate has experience with product-level electrolyzer stacks, enabling them to identify core technical challenges, initiate R&D projects independently, and drive the validation process from a fundamental research perspective to global product standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Core Research & Problem Identification: Deeply analyze the technical bottlenecks of electrolysis (e.g., degradation mechanisms, mass transfer issues, or material fatigue). Independently identify and define key research topics that drive product improvement.
· Localization & Material Assessment: Lead the evaluation of domestic materials and components. Use your research insight to determine how local materials affect stack performance and longevity during rapid iteration cycles.
· Project Leadership (Ideation to Validation): Independently lead technical projects, including project scoping, experimental design, data analysis, and final validation for global markets.
· Large-scale Stack Development: Apply your experience in product-level electrolyzer stacks to optimize design, assembly, and maintenance processes, ensuring performance stability at scale.
· Technical Advocacy: Be a "vocal" expert within the group. Challenge existing technical assumptions based on data and research evidence and provide strategic technical directions for the team.
Qualifications· Product Experience: Proven corporate experience in Electrolyzer. Experience with PEM, AEM, or AEL technologies is required. We value the complexity and system-level insights gained from AEL development.
· Stack Expertise: Extensive experience in the development of large-scale/large-capacity electrolyzer stacks. Must have been involved in at least one key phase: Design, Assembly, or Maintenance/Troubleshooting.
· R&D Capability: Strong ability to summarize research gaps and independently initiate/manage R&D projects. You should be able to dig out "the why" behind engineering failures.
· Engineering Foundation: Background in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
· Electrochemical Understanding: Solid functional knowledge of electrochemistry to collaborate effectively with our in-house specialists.
· Independent Problem Solver: A track record of solving complex technical problems with minimal supervision.
Language:
Professional proficiency in English is required for technical documentation and communication within our global organization.
