Job Summary and Qualifications:
1. Performs routine, sleep, portable, CDS, EMGs and EP studies on adult and pediatric patients according to Policies and Procedures.
2. Ensures that quality patient care is provided within the defined area of accountability.
3. Assures all records are available for physicians to read on a daily basis.
4. Obtains pertinent patient history; including neurological and psychological screening.
5. Demonstrates proficiency in operating and troubleshooting equipment used in the EEG/EMG/EP lab.
6. Restocks work areas with necessary supplies. Keeps work areas clean and orderly to promote patient safety.
7. Submits activity reports as requested
What qualifications you will need:
EDUCATION:
**Required** - High School Diploma
Preferred - High School Diploma, Graduate of a recognized EEG school
EXPERIENCE:
**Required** - Six months experience in EEG
Preferred - One year experience in EEG, EMG, and evoked potentials after formal training preferred.
LICENSURE:
**Required** : American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider
