Electro-Mechanical Assembler – $30–$32/hr
Location: Newark, DE
Shift: First Shift

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our team on a contract basis for 3 to 5 months. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, troubleshooting, and testing complex electro-mechanical and power conditioning modules. This position works closely with Engineering and New Product Introduction (NPI) teams to optimize layouts and support documentation efforts.

Pay Rate:
$30–$32/hour

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble, troubleshoot, and test complex electro-mechanical and power conditioning modules Read and interpret electrical and circuit schematics Use hand tools and equipment for assembly of electro-mechanical systems Route electrical harnesses cleanly and logically Collaborate with Engineering to develop documentation and test procedures Perform routine testing on finished and sub-assemblies Support troubleshooting efforts on PCS modules Audit and manage NPI kits, reporting shortages to the Production Coordinator Manage material flow in and out of the work area
Required Qualifications: AA degree or 3 years of equivalent work experience 5+ years of experience in component-level troubleshooting and repair 1+ year experience with Inverters and Converters 1+ year of troubleshooting electronic circuits Proficiency in reading electrical/electronic schematics Skilled in soldering and de-soldering PCBA components Familiarity with power electronics products Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills Strong customer service mindset with cross-department collaboration
Preferred Qualifications: Prior leadership or supervisory experience Electro-mechanical assembly expertise Experience testing high-voltage equipment Bending tube and pipe SMT + THT soldering and de-soldering skills
