We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon. As an Electro-Mechanical Technician supporting the MTO ASPEX Production Team in Fort Worth, TX, a typical day will include:

Assist in the design, planning, construction, and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities.

Support planning, budgeting, and scheduling of facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials, and related costs.

Help coordinate building space allocation and layout, communication services, and facilities expansion while ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.

Support the management of contracts and contractors.

Engage with insurance providers to assist in developing and executing risk reduction projects such as fire prevention.

Contribute to facility master planning and assist in managing the Real Estate portfolio, including lease management, transaction management, and financial oversight/alignment for lease and maintenance costs.

Perform complex tasks of a highly technical nature, applying scientific and engineering principles to solve problems and innovate.

Adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training.

Meet individual job requirements and contribute to the overall compliance of the organization, committing to continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

High School Diploma or equivalent

The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English

3 Years of Relevant Experience

Location: Onsite

Work hours: 4 nights on, 4 nights off

Travel:10% Domestic and/or Intl.
