Electrician Maintenance Mechanic

Job Summary

The Electrician/Electronics Technician is responsible for performing the installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of all electrical and electronic equipment.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Repairs machinery, transfer systems, hand tools, etc., in accordance with diagrams, operating manuals, and manufacturer specificationsPerforms regular, preventative maintenance on all electrical and electronic machinery, equipment, tools, and buildingMaintains records of repair and maintenance activitiesPerforms set-ups, tunes ups, and runs the equipment, and machinery around the plantPerforms duties consistent with established safety rules and proceduresMaintains work area clean and organizedParticipates in safety, CI, and other programs and meetingsPerforms duties consistent with hazardous waste and hazardous material handling procedures and practicesPrepares various reports as requiredPerforms other duties as required

Compensation & Benefit Information:

Hourly Pay Range:  $28-$32 per hour dependent on experience*

                *pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living 

Bonus/Incentive Pay:

Incentive pay may be available for certain job roles and may include piece rate incentives, weekly production bonuses, trip rates, and employee referral bonuses.  A discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance may also be provided.

Qualification

Minimum high school diploma; associate's degree is preferredMinimum 1 to 3 years of experience in machine repair and maintenance, electrical and electronic control technologyWorking knowledge of electronic test equipmentWorking knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and control technologyWorking knowledge of AC/DC voltage, AC/DC drives, control wiring, and PLC ControlsWorking knowledge of safe equipment practices and applicable laws, rules, and regulationsMust be at least 18 years of age
